Tipping guidance: ZAR 20–50 for porters, 10–15% at restaurants, and ZAR 100–150 per day combined for driver and guide.
Table Mountain cable car operations depend on wind and visibility — your guide will adjust the day if conditions force a closure.
The Cape Peninsula day can be windy and cool even in summer; layered clothing and a light windbreaker make a real difference.
Wine tastings are charged separately at each estate (typically ZAR 80–150 per tasting); a designated non-drinking traveller is recommended for self-drive variations.
