Kenya
Kenya is where the word safari was born, and once you are there, you understand why. Open savannah as far as you can see, wildlife that does not hide, and sunsets that turn the sky into something unreasonable. With our Kenya tour packages from Dubai, you skip the research spiral and go straight to the good part.
Tell us what excites you, and we'll build the trip around it.
This is not a place you just observe. You will share chai with Maasai villagers, hear lions at night from your tented camp, and eat fresh seafood on the Swahili coast while the Indian Ocean does its thing. Couples, families, groups of friends, solo travellers looking for something real, Kenya has room for all of it.
Every year, over 1.5 million wildebeest, hundreds of thousands of zebra and gazelle cross from Tanzania's Serengeti into Kenya's Masai Mara. River crossings, predator hunts, and endless columns of animals stretching to the horizon. It is the Great Migration, and nothing on television comes close.
But Kenya's wildlife is not seasonal. Amboseli has elephants framed by Mount Kilimanjaro year-round. Samburu is home to rare species you will not find anywhere else. Lake Nakuru draws flamingos by the thousands. Our customized tour packages from Dubai connect the parks that match your interests, your timing, and how deep into the bush you want to go.
Kenya is not just a safari destination. It is where some of the oldest human fossils on earth were found, earning it the title "Cradle of Humankind." The country's cultural fabric is woven from over 40 ethnic groups, each with distinct languages, traditions, and ways of life.
The Maasai are the most recognised, known for their red shukas, beadwork, and semi-nomadic lifestyle on the plains. The Swahili coast tells a different story, one shaped by centuries of Arab, Persian, and Portuguese trade. Lamu's old town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, feels like stepping back several hundred years. Nairobi adds a modern layer with its galleries, music scene, and a creative energy that is redefining what African cities look like.
Kenya slows you down in the best way. Sundowner drinks on a private deck overlooking the plains. Spa mornings at a bush lodge. Lazy afternoons on Diani Beach, where the sand is white and the water is warm.
The Swahili coast is a world of its own: Lamu's narrow streets, dhow sailing at sunset, and seafood grilled on the shore. Our all-inclusive holiday packages from Dubai cover accommodation, meals, and key experiences so you do not have to plan between game drives and beach days.

Hot air balloon rides over the Masai Mara at dawn. Hiking Mount Kenya, Africa's second-highest peak. White water rafting on the Tana River. Snorkelling the marine parks of Watamu. Cycling through the Great Rift Valley.
Nairobi itself surprises people. A national park inside the city limits, a thriving food scene, rooftop bars, and the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage just a short drive away. Our customized tour packages from Dubai are built around your pace, your priorities, and how much adventure you can handle.

Quick tips on what to pack, local culture, and smart insights to help you experience the Kenya like a pro.
What to Pack
Neutral-coloured layers for early morning game drives, which can be surprisingly cool even near the equator. Comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, a hat, and binoculars if you have them. Light cotton for the coast.
Best Time to Go
July to October is peak safari season, when the Great Migration fills the Masai Mara and the weather is dry. January and February are also excellent for wildlife with fewer crowds. The coast is warm year-round, with the driest months from December to March.
Flights from Dubai
Nairobi is just over 5 hours direct. Emirates, Kenya Airways, and flydubai all operate daily non-stop flights, making Kenya one of the closest and best-connected safari destinations from Dubai.
Money Tips
The Kenyan Shilling gives good value for UAE travellers. Cards are accepted at lodges, hotels, and most restaurants in Nairobi and the coast. Carry cash for markets, tips, and smaller towns.
Entry Requirements
Kenya no longer requires a traditional visa. All travellers need an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA), which you apply for online. It costs around $30, takes 3 to 5 business days, and your passport must be valid for at least 6 months. We can walk you through the process, or explore our visa included tour packages from Dubai for a fully handled experience.
Staying Connected
Pick up a local SIM card at the airport. Wi-Fi is available in most lodges and hotels, though safari camps may have limited signal. Honestly, the disconnect is part of the experience.
Food and Meal Plans
Safari lodges typically include all meals, and the standard is often much higher than expected. On the coast, eat local: grilled fish, coconut rice, and Swahili spiced dishes. All-inclusive plans work well for combined bush-and-beach trips.
Things to Do Beyond Safari
Dhow cruises on the coast, Maasai cultural visits, Nairobi street food tours, Mount Kenya treks, marine park snorkelling, and sundowner cocktails on the savannah.
Tell us where you want to go, your budget, and your travel style. We'll send a clear itinerary you can edit, until it feels perfect.
How many days do I need for a Kenya trip?
A week is a solid starting point. That gives you three to four days of safari plus time on the coast or in Nairobi. Ten days lets you combine multiple parks and a beach extension comfortably. Even a long weekend safari in the Masai Mara works if time is tight.
Is it safe to visit Kenya?
Tourist areas, safari lodges, and guided excursions maintain high safety standards. Nairobi has the same awareness requirements as any major city. We plan routes through well-known areas, arrange trusted transfers, and provide practical tips so you travel with confidence. Kenya was named the world's friendliest country in Condé Nast Traveller's 2025 rankings, which says a lot.
Do I need vaccinations or malaria tablets?
Malaria precautions are recommended for most safari areas and the coast. Yellow fever vaccination may be required depending on your travel history. We recommend consulting your doctor or a travel clinic at least four to six weeks before departure. We can advise on what is typically expected so you are prepared.
Can I combine safari with a beach holiday?
Absolutely. This is one of Kenya's biggest strengths. Diani Beach, Watamu, and Lamu are all reachable by a short domestic flight from Nairobi or the Mara. A week of safari followed by a few days on the Indian Ocean coast is one of the most popular itinerary shapes we build.
What is the difference between a national park and a conservancy?
National parks like the Masai Mara Reserve are government-managed and open to all visitors. Conservancies are privately or community-run areas bordering the parks, with fewer vehicles, exclusive game drives, walking safaris, and night drives that are not allowed in the main reserve. They tend to offer a more intimate experience. We can recommend the right mix based on your budget and preferences.
Is Kenya suitable for first-time safari goers?
Kenya's parks are well-established, lodges cater to all experience levels, and guides are among the best in Africa. Whether you have never been on a game drive or you have done safaris elsewhere, Kenya makes the experience comfortable, safe, and genuinely unforgettable. That is exactly what our family holiday packages from Dubai are designed to do for families new to safari as well.
