Overview
The Island Escape is our most-booked Maldives break for a reason: four days is exactly enough to switch off. You land at Velana International, hop a shared speedboat, and check into a beach villa with the lagoon a few steps from the deck. Day two is deliberately unplanned — snorkel the house reef, book a spa session, or simply move between the pool and the sea. Day three brings the classic Maldives evening: a sunset cruise across the atoll with spinner dolphins riding the bow wave, followed by a beachside dinner. Day four ends with a morning at leisure and the speedboat back for your flight. Half-board dining and all transfers are included, so the only decision left is which side of the island to watch the sunset from.

Arrival & Speedboat Transfer
Meet-and-greet at Velana International Airport, shared speedboat to the resort, welcome drink, and beach villa check-in. Evening at leisure with dinner at the main restaurant.

Free Day on the Island
A full day at leisure — snorkel the house reef straight off the beach, join the resort's free morning yoga, or upgrade to a spa session. Kayaks and stand-up paddleboards are complimentary.

Day 3
Sunset Dolphin Cruise
Morning and afternoon at leisure. Late afternoon, board a traditional dhoni for a sunset cruise — pods of spinner dolphins are spotted on most sailings — then a beachside dinner.

Departure

Travel Tips
Passports must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your return date; UAE residents receive a free 30-day visa on arrival.
The Maldives uses the Rufiyaa (MVR), but USD is accepted almost everywhere — carry small notes for tips and local-island shopping.
Seaplane transfers operate in daylight hours only; late-evening arrivals may connect by speedboat or overnight in Malé.
Alcohol is available only at resorts, not on local islands, and modest dress is expected when visiting inhabited islands.
Reef-safe sunscreen is strongly recommended — regular sunscreen damages the coral you came to see.
Policies
Booking & Payment: A 30% deposit confirms the booking. The balance is due 30 days before departure. Bookings within 30 days of travel require full payment at confirmation.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations 45+ days before departure: full refund minus booking fees. 30–44 days: 50% refund. 15–29 days: 25% refund. Under 15 days: no refund. Peak-season (Dec–Jan) departures may carry stricter resort terms.
Child Policy: Children under 2 travel as infants at the infant rate. Children 2–11 sharing with two adults qualify for the child rate. Overwater villas at most resorts require children to be 8 or older.
Travel Insurance: Comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellation, and personal belongings is strongly recommended and not included in the package price.
