Overview
A focused, well-paced Kenya safari built around the world-famous Great Migration in the Masai Mara National Reserve. Start in Nairobi, then head into the Mara via the Great Rift Valley for two full days of game drives — wildebeest river crossings, lion prides, cheetahs on the open plains, and the chance for an optional sunrise hot-air balloon safari. The trip rounds off with a relaxed night on Lake Naivasha, with an optional boat ride or Crescent Island walking safari among the giraffes and zebras. Comfortable lodge accommodation, a professional driver-guide, and a pop-roof safari vehicle throughout.

Day 1
Arrival in Nairobi
Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where you are met by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Nairobi. The rest of the day is free to recover from the flight. Overnight in Nairobi.

Day 2
Nairobi → Masai Mara
After breakfast, drive across the Great Rift Valley escarpment to the Masai Mara National Reserve (approximately 5–6 hours with stops). Check in at your lodge or tented camp and have lunch. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive in the Mara — herds of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, and the predators that follow them. Return for dinner and overnight.

Day 3
Full Day Masai Mara Safari
A full day of game drives in the Masai Mara — the chance to witness the Great Migration river crossings on the Mara and Talek rivers (July–September), find the Big Five, and watch predator action up close. Optional hot-air balloon safari at dawn (extra cost). All meals at the lodge.

Day 4
Masai Mara → Lake Naivasha
Breakfast and a leisurely morning at the camp, then drive north-east to Lake Naivasha (approximately 5 hours). Check-in at your lakeside resort. In the afternoon, take an optional boat ride to spot hippos and pelicans, or visit Crescent Island for a walking safari among the resident giraffes and zebras. Dinner and overnight on the lake.

Lake Naivasha → Nairobi — Departure

Travel Tips
Passports must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your return date.
All proposed accommodations are subject to availability at the time of confirmation; equivalent alternatives are arranged when needed.
Activities may shift due to weather, local authority decisions, or operational reasons — your guide will keep you informed.
Hotel check-in is typically 14:00 and check-out 12:00; early check-in / late check-out are subject to availability and may carry a fee.
Carry small denomination notes for tips, local markets, and short rides.
Mornings and evenings on safari are surprisingly cool — pack a fleece or light jacket.
Neutral colours (khaki, olive, beige) are best on game drives; avoid bright white and dark blue.
A Kenya eTA must be obtained online before travel; passport must be valid for at least 6 months.
Yellow fever vaccination may be required for travellers arriving from yellow-fever risk countries.
Policies
Booking & Payment: A 30% deposit is required to confirm the booking. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to departure. Bookings made within 30 days of departure require full payment at the time of confirmation.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations 45+ days before departure: full refund minus booking fees. 30–44 days: 50% refund. 15–29 days: 25% refund. Less than 15 days: no refund. Some accommodations and activities may have stricter terms.
Child Policy: Children under 2 years travel as infants and are charged the infant rate. Children aged 2–11 sharing a room with two adults qualify for the child rate. Children 12 and above are charged as adults.
Travel Insurance: Comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellation, and personal belongings is strongly recommended and is not included in the package price.
